EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Jan. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Roger Wiederkehr, a Wyle senior executive who joined the company in 2005, has been appointed General Counsel. He oversees Wyle's legal matters, contracts administration, environmental/safety, security, and compliance programs. In addition, Wiederkehr continues to lead Wyle's mergers and acquisitions activities and serve as the secretary of the company.

Roger brings a unique combination of legal background and extensive operations experience to this critical position."
Prior to joining Wyle, Wiederkehr was a member of URS' Corporate Strategy Group, and before joining URS, he was a management consultant and project manager with McKinsey & Company. He holds a law degree from the University of Zurich in Switzerland and received his M.B.A. from Yale University.
Wyle, a privately held company, is a leading provider of high tech aerospace engineering and information technology services to the federal government on long-term support contracts. The company also provides test and evaluation of aircraft, weapon systems, networks, and other government assets; and other engineering services to the aerospace, defense, and nuclear power industries.
