Coverage of the world's largest one-day automotive celebration revs up with a 2-hour live special from 7-9 p.m. An encore presentation will air on Sunday, August 21, from 8-10 a.m.

Channel 7 will bring all the cruising classics to viewers from locations up and down historic Woodward Avenue. WXYZ Action News Anchors, Stephen Clark and Diana Lewis, will host the program from the WXYZ home base on Woodward Avenue near Duggan's Restaurant in Royal Oak. The show will also include reports from Carolyn Clifford, Mary Conway, and JoAnne Purtan. Dave Rexroth will be capturing all the action along Woodward Avenue in the Chevy Car Cam. Action News Morning Team members Vic Faust, Alicia Smith and Erin Nicole will be on the north end of the cruise route in Pontiac, with cruising classics and a special Dream Cruise surprise.
