Wunderman Announces Yannis Kotziagkiaouridis as Global Chief Analytics Officer
NEW YORK, April 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wunderman announced today that Yannis Kotziagkiaouridis has joined as global chief analytics officer, effective immediately. Kotziagkiaouridis will lead and expand a global team of analytics specialists who are experts in uncovering insights that inform creative and content. In his role, Kotziagkiaouridis ensures that Wunderman can create relevant, resonant communications aimed at individual preferences anywhere in the world.
Based in Dallas, Kotziagkiaouridis will develop and integrate strategies for analytical insights that leverage Wunderman's extensive data and data-driven technology capabilities. Building on Wunderman's global analytics capabilities, Kotziagkiaouridis will deliver state-of-the-art analytics services to our clients. He will also oversee the development of additional proprietary analytics products and platforms. In support of new business efforts, he will provide robust analytics assessments and road maps.
Kotziagkiaouridis will report to Gary S. Laben, Wunderman's global chief data officer and CEO of KBM Group - the data, insights and marketing technology arm of Wunderman. Additionally, Kotziagkiaouridis will oversee development and delivery of analytics services for KBM Group. In that capacity, he will report to William J. Burkart, KBM Group's President and COO.
With 17 years of experience, Kotziagkiaouridis has a deep understanding of CRM, segmentation and predictive analytics, digital analysis and reporting, measurement of ROI, media mix and brand impact assessment. He will be responsible for the addition of analytics expertise and ensure consistent delivery of best practices to clients throughout Wunderman as well as build capabilities in new locations. Additionally, he will work closely with Wunderman's Center for Advanced Analytics, based in Singapore, to foster collaboration and ensure the quality of analytics services across regions.

Kotziagkiaouridis joins directly from Merkle, where he was vice president of CRM analytics and strategy, and a member of its analytics executive team and operating committee. His vertical-industry experience includes high technology, insurance, financial management and B2B. Prior to that, he was vice president of analytics strategy at TPG Direct, a part of Omnicom Group.
