WTP Advisors' Adam Ludman Named 'Dynamic Male Executive' of Westchester County
Ludman's Work with Nonprofit Organization Noted by Business Journal
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Dec. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Adam Ludman, Tax Associate at WTP Advisors, the award-winning tax and business advisory firm headquartered in White Plains, has been named a 2010 "Dynamic Male Executive" by the Westchester County Business Journal.
Ludman appears in a special supplement included in the November 29 issue of the Journal that showcases a very select group of thirty Westchester businessmen to watch.
"We are proud that Adam's energy and talents are being recognized by the business community. He's not only a rising star in the tax industry, but for Westchester as well," says Mike Minihan, Partner and co-founder of WTP Advisors.
Ludman caught the attention of the Journal for his work with the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless. He joined the board in September and will sit on its finance and legislative committees.
"Whether they live or work in Westchester, our male executives are bringing to the county new energy and hope for the future...In the tough economic climate coupled with a call for reform from Albany, these men are on the fast-track to lead us toward better times," notes Kelly Liyakasa who wrote and coordinated the special issue.
"Despite the perception that Westchester County is an affluent community, rising unemployment and escalating poverty is leaving many of the county's residents without the basic necessities of life like food and shelter," says Ludman. "Working with the Coalition is a great opportunity for me to help people who have fallen on hard times, and to give back to the community in which I live and work."
At WTP Advisors, Adam Ludman focuses on quantitative analysis, international tax planning, and international tax compliance for large, multinational corporations. WTP Advisors is well-known for its ability to help organizations find new ways to increase revenue through novel tax strategies and innovative business management practices.
"With several new members joining the Board of Directors in September, the Coalition hopes to make the most of our different areas of expertise so we can serve the community more effectively. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the organization faces a variety of tax and legal issues where my particular background should prove helpful," says Ludman.
Ludman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University, his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, and his Master of Laws in Taxation, With Distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center, where his coursework focused on international taxation, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integration.
