WTgreen Presents Its First Award for 2017

WTgreen is an organization under the aegis of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). Since the 1990s, WTgreen has served as a consultant to UNESCO and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Its professional and authoritative services have received high praise from the United Nations and many countries including the United States, Japan, China and South Korea. The organization, with a focus on the adoption of environmentally-responsible and healthy practices, has selected award winners in accordance with a set of strict criteria. As a non-profit organization that is dedicated to environmental protection globally, WTgreen rarely gave awards to companies. To date, only a handful of companies, among them Mercedes Benz, Lotus and Unilever, have received awards from the organization.

This year, Casarte is among the brands that have won the recognition from WTgreen. Wattley, another judge at WTgreen and a consultant for the U.S. President's Advisory Commission, also noted that Casarte's global first cellular-level freshness-maintaining technology is another important technological invention in the history of the refrigerator, and provides an impetus for further innovations across the global refrigerator industry.

Being able to keep food fresh at a cellular level represents a further advancement in freshness maintenance technologies and is expected to point the way in terms of the next stage of development for the industry.
