WTC-Related Cancer Claims the Life of Another 9/11 Hero

The gripping photo shows Falb's young son kissing his father's casket as he says his final goodbye. According to Fox 5 News, Falb's wife asked Battinelli to photograph the funeral.

Hundreds of police officers from around the nation came to pay their respects to Trooper Falb.

Sadly, Trooper Falb is one of many responders to develop 9/11-related cancer. Battinelli emphases the need to talk about 9/11-related cancers, pointing out that many people may not know about the health benefits available through the Zadroga Act. The Act offers free medical treatment and monitoring through the WTC Health Program and compensation through the September 11^th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF).
