WTC Developer Larry Silverstein to Celebrate Topping Out of Steel at 4 World Trade Center
Final Steel Beam to Be Lifted 977 Feet and Placed Atop the First Skyscraper That Will Open on 16-Acre WTC Site
NEW YORK, June 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- World Trade Center Developer Larry A. Silverstein will join more than 1,000 construction workers at a Topping Out Ceremony to mark completion of steel erection for 4 World Trade Center, which will be the first tower to open on the WTC site, from 10-11 AM on Monday, June 25 at the corner of Liberty and Greenwich Streets, Manhattan.
The last steel beam will be signed by a representative group of construction workers before it is lifted 977 feet in the air and placed atop 4 World Trade Center – which will be the first tower completed on the 16-acre WTC site when it opens in Fall 2013.
