WTAS Promotes Client-Centric State & Local Tax Director

CHICAGO, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- James Tauber was promoted to Managing Director in the Chicago office of WTAS LLC after two years of service in the State and Local Tax Practice.  Jim joined WTAS in 2007 as a Director after working at two international professional service firms and in the retail food and drug industry.

Tauber has a combined total of thirty years of business experience with more than fifteen years of experience providing tax, technology, and business consulting services in many areas of state and local tax.  His extensive experience in sales and use transaction taxes allows him to successfully and creatively assist clients with audit defenses, compliance process review, and voluntary disclosures in a variety of industries.
