NEW YORK, Feb. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Women Presidents' Educational Organization (WPEO) is pleased to announce that its New York and Washington, D.C. offices are the Regional Partner Organizations serving as host councils for the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) National Conference & Business Fair. A signature WBENC annual event, it is the largest conference of its kind for women business owners in the U.S. and will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland, June 25 – 27, 2019.
Attendees will include Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs); senior executives and procurement representatives from the Fortune 500 and the U.S. Government; and select partner organizations whose missions align with WBENC's vision of expanding women's business opportunities in the marketplace.
The theme of this year's conference is Ecosystems: Connect. Grow. Thrive. and promises full immersion into a dynamic network of entrepreneurs and professionals, all dedicated to increasing opportunities for women-owned businesses.
The 2019 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair Host Committee is co-chaired by Jennifer Collins, President & CEO of JDC Events and Lynne Marie Finn, President & CEO of Broadleaf Results, Inc. Host Committee members are WBENC-Certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) from a multitude of industries representing the Host Councils. The objective of the Host Committee is to represent WBENC as the official ambassadors, providing information about the conference, its goal, mission and content. In addition, they serve as spokespeople on behalf of the 2019 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair to local, regional and national media outlets, to reach prospective constituents with interest in the development of WBEs.
