WowWee Secures Temporary Restraining Order Against Counterfeiters of its Award-Winning Fingerlings™ Toy Line
As part of its Aggressive Global Anti-Counterfeiting Campaign, WowWee Files Federal Lawsuit Against 165 Sellers of Counterfeit Fingerlings™
MONTREAL, Nov. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- WowWee, a leading manufacturer of hi-tech consumer robotic and entertainment products, has filed a federal lawsuit (Civil Action no. 17-CV-7969) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against 165 sellers of counterfeit Fingerlings™. Judge Robert W. Sweet, of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, has officially granted WowWee's request for a Temporary Restraining Order, ordering that the sellers assets and storefronts be frozen.
