LOS ANGELES, May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- WOW air announced today that they will have service to Israel's Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) beginning September 12, 2017. One-way tickets on the ultra-affordable Icelandic airline from the United States to TLV will go on sale today with prices starting at $149 from Boston (BOS), New York (EWR), Baltimore (BWI), Pittsburgh (PIT) and Chicago (ORD) and $199 from Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO) and Miami (MIA).
Located on the country's Mediterranean coastline, Tel Aviv is a bustling city offering great beaches, exciting nightlife and important museums, as well as, being the technological and cultural hub for the region.

WOW air will start out offering one of the cheapest options for travel from North America to Israel four times a week.

Flights from the east and west coasts will include connections in Reykjavik that will be approximately 13 and 2 hours, respectively. Length of the layover will be subject to change for the winter season flights. WOW air encourages travelers to take in the sights, sounds and tastes of Iceland. Passengers can get more out of their travel with the WOW Stopover, which includes a visit to Iceland for an unlimited amount of time, before heading on to destinations in Europe and beyond.
The new Tel Aviv route will be serviced by WOW air´s brand new Airbus fleet with the average age of 2.5 years. Seat pitch will vary from 30 inches as standard to 37 inches at an additional charge.
