Wounded Warrior Project to Participate In Combined Federal Campaign

Fundraising Initiative Open to All Federal Employees Starting September 1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Wounded Warrior Project^® (WWP) will once again participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the world's largest annual workplace-charity campaign. CFC provides the perfect opportunity for military and civilian federal employees to get involved by supporting causes they believe in, and helping wounded veterans and the nonprofits that serve them. CFC utilizes almost 200 campaigns nationwide and overseas to raise millions of dollars each year for eligible nonprofits.

The funds raised through CFC provide WWP with the support needed to ensure our programs and services for mental and physical health, long-term support, employment, and education continue to be provided free of charge to warriors, their families, and caregivers, for a lifetime.

The programs support both immediate and long-term recovery and healing by smoothing the transition into life after military service.
