Wounded Warrior Project participates in The Big Payback
NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 4, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) will be one of many non-profit organizations to benefit from The Big Payback on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The 24-hour online giving challenge is hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee as part of the national day of giving through Give Local America.
The event will raise awareness of the pressing needs affecting the 40 counties of Middle Tennessee, and encourages the community to give in its own backyard to organizations impacting the areas in which we live and work. The Big Payback will spotlight the 1,832 injured service members in Tennessee, and the programs we offer them and their families in the vital areas of engagement, mind, body, and economic empowerment."The Wounded Warrior Project Nashville office works tirelessly to impact the lives of local warriors and their families, not just today, but for their lifetimes," said Catherine McDonough, WWP Grants Specialist. "We are excited to participate in The Big Payback and encourage individuals and companies to use this opportunity to step up for a local cause."
