Brendan Newman, vice president of sales, said both the Basic Sales Leadership training and Level II Leadership training are vital for the growth of current and future leaders within the company.
The sessions, held at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas, included seasoned sales and account managers from across the country who were ready for a deeper course on leadership responsibilities and development.
Topics included best practices for recruiting and interviewing, strategies and topics for weekly meetings and other management techniques. Attendees also participated in on-the-job role-playing scenarios.
"We have seen the benefits of these training sessions in helping us grow leaders," said David Kiger, CEO and founder of Worldwide Express. "Having more experienced, qualified leaders gives Worldwide Express a competitive advantage while boosting the individuals' careers."
The training regimen at Worldwide Express has been recognized by Glassdoor.com as one of the nation's best. It is one reason Glassdoor.com has named Worldwide Express as the No. 1 place in America for career advancement.
