Brendan Newman, vice president of sales, said a majority of ACE Training is spent focusing on the root causes for buyer rejection. The goal is for representatives, by the end of training, to be able to identify each issue or objection a buyer might have to doing business with WWE so those issues can be addressed and relationships developed.
Participants are chosen for the ACE training sessions based on several factors, including tenure, sales performance and attitude.
"We're eager for the opportunity to bring the top account executives and account managers to Dallas so we can all focus on the salesperson's development," said David Kiger, CEO and founder of Worldwide Express. "The smaller class size of ACE allows us to create an intimate environment and an unique, tailored approach."
ACE training covers the following topics:
- Isolating objections
- Overcoming objections one at a time
- Dealing with objections in a structured manner
- Uncovering the true objection
- Using logic over emotion with a buyer
- Letting the customer "buy" vs. "selling" the customer
- Persuading as opposed to convincing
Worldwide Express has been recognized by Glassdoor.com as having the best entry level sales job in America, in large part because of its outstanding management and a rigorous training and development program that provides tremendous employee support. ACE Training is an important part of that award-winning initiative.
