MUSCATINE, Iowa, Jan. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- World's Best Cat Litter™ is supporting animal shelters affected by recent natural disasters with donations that will go toward rebuilding and repairing their facilities, as well as supporting influxes of new cats. The company has provided a monetary donation to Texas Litter Control in Spring, TX; Clay County Animal Services in Green Cove Springs, FL; and the Humane Society of Sonoma County, CA.

Shortly after Hurricane Harvey made landfall in central Texas, Texas Litter Control, a high-quality clinic for cats and dogs in the Harris and Montgomery counties, was flooded and forced to temporarily shut down. The shelter reopened in October, but its cat sanctuary was completely devastated and forced to relocate. Meanwhile, Clay County Animal Services, a public shelter that adopts out hundreds of cats and dogs every year, was completely flooded by Hurricane Irma. The donation from World's Best Cat Litter™ will go toward helping to replace the $16,000 worth of goods lost in the flooding, as well as rebuilding the shelter's cat room.
