Worldnow leads the way in 2014 with over 65 station renewals and new partnerships

"This is an amazing start to the year on top of a banner 2013 where we renewed 100% of clients that came up for renewal and added 30 news stations including Media General and Sunbeam Television," said Craig Smith, Chief Revenue Officer, Worldnow. In the last 4+ years, 13 of 14 RFP's for platform services sought by broadcasters have been awarded to Worldnow.
The 65 renewals come from stations representing CBS Local, Lilly Broadcasting, Drewry Broadcasting, Lockwood, Dispatch, Saga Communications and Marquee Broadcasting. CBS Local (representing over 50 TV and radio stations) has renewed with Worldnow for its industry leading video solutions. This includes support for on demand, mobile and live streaming as well as support for FCC compliant closed captioning experiences. The remaining groups renewed with Worldnow for their Web Content Management platform and National Ad Network in addition to video.
Worldnow also announced that it has signed up Paxton Media's WPSD in Paducah, Kentucky which is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2014.
