World Sports Media Group Announces Spontaneous Increases in Athletic Performance
SARASOTA, Fla., June 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- World-renowned Six Sigma Champion Steven Falk is taking the global success of Six Sigma Sports to a new "Athlete-Zone" project, capable of spontaneous increases in athletic performance as high as 44.03 percent.
Former Stanford Tennis USPTA Coach, USTA Official and Six Sigma Champion Steven Falk is now in the research and development phase of the "Athlete-Zone" project, which is a shortcut for Athletes to trigger emotion, which in turn directly influences their behavior/performance. Practical application of this research is expected to reach into multiple disciplines beyond Sports to improve performance in areas as diverse as Business, Education, Medicine and Music.
After a great performance, many athletes have described a feeling of being "in the zone." In this state they feel invincible, as if the game slowed down, the crowd noise had fallen silent, and they had achieved an incredible focus on their mission. What is this Superman-like state and how can players enter it when they need it most?
The Athlete-Zone project is completely focused motivation. It is a single-minded immersion and represents perhaps the ultimate in harnessing emotions in performance and learning.
An extensive list of human emotions is mapped to corresponding notes, and each note is mapped to a corresponding (Hz) frequency. Software is then used to generate tones or vibrational frequencies that spontaneously shift an athlete from his/her current emotional tone/frequency to his/her desired tone/frequency/emotion. The athlete is now "In the Zone." The entire process is currently patent pending.
Researchers have concluded that there is a distinct pattern of brain activity and emotion that occurs when exposed to music. Music, therefore, can produce emotion and emotion can influence behavior/athletic performance.
The Company's first project, Six Sigma Tennis, was developed at Stanford Tennis in Palo Alto, CA and published in 2010; it has been distributed to 18 countries. Six Sigma Tennis was recently selected by The American Society of Quality to train at Notre Dame in South Bend, IN to demonstrate the principles behind its new Quality in Athletics division.
In Six Sigma Tennis, leading expert Steven Falk explains how the improvement processes major corporations use to ensure 99.99 percent quality can now be used by tennis players of all levels to achieve 99.99 percent success rates on and off the court; in other words, how to win. In Six Sigma Bowling, Falk promises the same success rates for bowlers on and off the lanes.
The Research and Development Division of World Sports Media Group is currently seeking additional investors in order to enable them to broaden the scope of testing across multiple sports in various locations and to develop and customize the product for each (e.g., football player helmets with embedded technology).
