World Financial Group Keeps $1 Billion Promise
JOHNS CREEK, Ga., Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Associates of World Financial Group, Inc. and World Financial Group Canada Inc., collectively World Financial Group (WFG), have kept their promise to protect families by placing $1 billion of new life insurance coverage in September.
In celebration of Life Insurance Awareness Month, WFG placed an ad in the Sept. 1 issue of TIME magazine announcing "A Billion Dollar Promise." WFG's commitment was to help protect the futures of families across North America by having their independent associates place $1 billion in new life insurance policies during the month.

WFG's independent associates strive to help individuals and families plan for their financial futures by building strategies that can include a wide-range of options such as life insurance. Licensed associates also offer their clients the power of choice. Associates have access to products and services from several leading companies in the financial and insurance industries.
In the United States, licensed associates offer life insurance through World Financial Group Insurance Agency, Inc., headquartered in Johns Creek, Ga., or its subsidiaries. In Canada, licensed associates offer life insurance through World Financial Group Insurance Agency of Canada Inc., headquartered in Toronto, Ontario.
Established in 2003, Life Insurance Awareness Month is a month-long effort to raise awareness among consumers about the need for life insurance. It is coordinated by the non-profit organization Life Happens® and supported throughout the industry. According to a study quoted on the Life Happens web site, 85 percent of those surveyed say most people need life insurance, yet only 62 percent have coverage.
