McBarnette Motivates Graduates
WASHINGTON, July 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bruce Olvin McBarnette, Esq. a World Champion athlete, attorney, businessman, and actor from Sterling, VA, was the commencement speaker for the graduation at Stratford University on June 18, 2011 at the McLean Hilton. Bruce McBarnette, who has won 8 world track and field championships and 24 USA national championships for his age group in the high jump, inspired the graduates to make the most of their talents as they make their mark in the world.
Over 700 graduates received undergraduate and master degrees in dozens of fields of study, including culinary arts and hospitality, health sciences, information technology, and business. Stratford is headquartered in Falls Church, VA and also has campuses in Richmond, and Woodbridge.
