Organization Leaders to Participate in 5K Race
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- WorkSmart, a leading provider of Information Technology services and solutions in North Carolina, announced today its sponsorship of the Volunteer Center of Durham's Great Human Race. This fundraiser will take place on March 27th at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
Five WorkSmart team members are registered to participate in the Great Human Race on Saturday. WorkSmart has a strong history of encouraging a work-life balance through physical fitness. WorkSmart teams will be active in other fitness events and charity fundraisers in 2010. Over the past year they participated in a number of these as well:
- Thunder Road, benefiting Charlotte-area charities
- Old Reliable Run, benefiting the Greater Triangle United Way
- Komen Race for the Cure, supporting Breast Cancer research
- The Great Human Race, benefiting Triangle-area nonprofits
- National MS Society Walk, supporting MS research
