WorkSmart Named Leading IT Networking Company
Organization Improves Ranking on Triangle Business Journal List
DURHAM, N.C., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- WorkSmart, a leading provider of Information Technology services in North Carolina, announced today that they have been ranked fifth among IT networking companies in the Triangle area by the Triangle Business Journal. Previously ranked sixth in 2009, seventh in 2008 and eighth in 2007, the team at WorkSmart is pleased to be recognized for their efforts. Rankings are determined by IT networking revenues in the Triangle region.
While most IT companies saw a decrease in revenues for 2009, WorkSmart had double-digit growth in services. They have experienced this rate of growth every year since inception, and the WorkSmart team believes that the Triangle Business Journal's ranking reflects their' stellar care and attention to its long-term clients and their ability to impress new clients and win them over. In addition to the year over year growth in the Triangle, WorkSmart completed the acquisitions of two Charlotte-based managed IT services firms, giving the company a larger presence in the Queen City region.
The company's growth has also been recognized by Business Leader Media's Top 100 Small Businesses in North Carolina from 2008 to 2010 based on revenue growth, years in business, employee growth, business achievement and community involvement. The company has also been named to the INC 5000 list in 2007 to 2009, based on percentage growth in revenues over a four-year period.
"We are proud and very thankful to have achieved growth in a difficult economy", said Ron Unger, WorkSmart CEO. "We are especially grateful to our clients', who in many cases invested more into their IT when they had to choose between needy parts of their business."
