Workshop on Dealing With the Emotional and Spiritual Aspects of Injuries Caused by Trauma
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sacramento - California Trial Lawyer Edward A. Smith recognizes how trauma can affect a person emotionally and spiritually. His office recently became aware of a great workshop at Spirit Rock Meditation Center near Fairfax, California and encourages anyone with serious injuries to attend.
A physical body that has been traumatized, often makes healing difficult and can disrupt one's connection to deeper levels of being or it can be a time of reflection and spiritual awakening. This workshop addresses these issues and is scheduled to last one full day. The workshop deals with the deeper implications of trauma and demonstrates how to work with the trauma through lectures, demonstrations and guided exercises.
Raja Slevam, PhD, is a senior Somatic Experiencing (SE) trainer and a faculty member at the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute.
The workshop is on Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Spirit Rock led by Raja Selbam, PhD. For workshop information contact Shoshana Frieden at (707) 293-6109 or [email protected] or contact [email protected].
