National survey recognizes Deloitte for sixth consecutive year
NEW YORK, July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte has been named among the top five organizations in the United States for multicultural women in 2011 by Working Mother magazine. The recognition, highlighted in the magazine's June/July issue, salutes 23 U.S. organizations that dedicate themselves to bringing more perspectives to the decision-making table by holding managers accountable for recruiting, retaining and promoting multicultural women.
"Deloitte is an organization where leaders thrive and is committed to providing its multicultural women employees with comprehensive resources to support their continued growth and development including flexibility, sponsorship and leadership development programs," said Barbara Adachi, national managing principal for Deloitte's award-winning Initiative for the Retention and Advancement of Women. "We appreciate this honor from Working Mother and will continue to celebrate and leverage the talents and perspectives of a diverse workforce so that they can realize their potential and provide our clients with creative solutions for operating effectively in a complex, global economy."

"By implementing strategic programs and practices to support talented multicultural women on their path to success, this year's honorees are employing a full-court press to ensure the success of their businesses."
Working Mother's June/July issue features a profile on Nicole Fuller, a principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP. Fuller joined Deloitte in 1999. In 2007 she was selected for Deloitte's Breakthrough Leadership Program, which provides high-performing multicultural managers and senior managers with coaching and additional resources to enhance performance and build career development skills. Fuller was admitted into the partnership in 2009. She lives in Harrisburg, Pa. with her husband and nine-month-old daughter, Madison.
