WorkGenius Announces Public Access for Professional Freelancers
Freelancers from Germany and the U.S. invited to shape the future of work with WorkGenius.
COLOGNE, Germany, Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at DMEXO 2018 in Cologne, Germany, WorkGenius announced it is opening its popular Digital Workforce platform to freelancers from around the world. The German start-up had previously limited access to well-paying digital projects to students from colleges in Europe and the Americas in order to derive valuable insights for its AI mechanism from a homogeneous group. A large group of non-student freelancers was added during the a comprehensive beta test earlier this year. Overall, there are now more than 300,000 WorkGeniuses active on the platform. Starting today, anyone the age of 18 can sign up to become a WorkGenius and generate a steady income stream by completing digital work through the platform. The company has evaluated each and every one of them through digital assessment centers during the sign-up process and subsequent ratings for work performed on the platform. With over 4 billion data points, the WorkGenius Digital Workforce ranks among the most thoroughly vetted and evaluated talent pools worldwide.

Research conducted by WorkGenius determined that companies struggle to find, evaluate, select, manage, and pay freelancers properly, especially when they require a large number of individuals to work on a project in parallel. The WorkGenius platform not only handles all these steps automatically but also splits large projects into smaller tasks that are then assigned to sometimes hundreds of freelancers. The company has more than doubled in size over the past year and plans to continue its expansion at the same pace.
