BELLEVUE, Wash., Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nintex announced today that its VP of Workflow Technology Mike Fitzmaurice will speak at information technology events in the United States and Europe, sharing best practices on solving workflow challenges, as well as how to identify which business process solutions yield the most results.
Fitzmaurice will present the following topics at five industry events:
- Collab 365 | October 7 – "Melding Code and Low-Code Workflow Solutions in Office 365: Making Power Users a Developer's Best Friend." This session will show how Office 365 users can create real-world solutions in minutes/hours (not days/weeks) and how developers can extend workflow with components, services, and more formal development efforts.
- Infotech Austin | October 8 (two sessions) – "IT as Coach: Orchestrate, Educate, and Facilitate to Innovate." This session describes a variety of "disruptive forces" at work – SaaS, budgets across departments, low-code/no-code tools, and "citizen developers" – and outlines a plan for using them to benefit your organization. In his second session, "Low-Code Development is Your Friend, Part I – Workflow," Fitzmaurice will cover strategies for helping lines of business (LOB) address business process problems at many levels of scale.
- Unity Connect Amsterdam | Oct 12-14 (three sessions) – at this conference, Fitzmaurice will discuss forms, workflow design, and how to choose what workflows to automate. Session titles include "Forms for Business Process: Revisited, Rethought, Reworked," as well as "Stage-Based Workflow Design: Productive and Practical" and "Workflow: Choosing What to Automate and How to Go About It."
- SharePoint TechFest Houston | October 27 – Fitzmaurice will participate on the Ask the Experts panel and present an individual session entitled "Workflow Solution Best Practices and Mistakes to Avoid."
- European SharePoint Conference in Stockholm | November 8-14 (three sessions) – Fitzmaurice will keynote "It's Not Only About SharePoint Anymore" where he will highlight that SharePoint technology (in the cloud or on-premises) may be the center of our universe (a big universe) but modern business solutions can and will draw on people inside and outside of organizations. He also will participate in two other sessions including "Form-Based Solutions: You're (Possibly) Doing it Wrong" and "Real-World Lessons for Provider-Hosted Office 365 Apps Built on Azure."
