Work on the Sagamore Bridge will resume in March
CONCORD, Mass., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District plans to resume deck repairs and other work on the Sagamore Bridge in Bourne, Mass., as early in March 2010 as the weather allows.
The work will only allow one lane of traffic in each direction – one lane onto the Cape and one lane off the Cape. No wide loads will be permitted over the Sagamore Bridge. The lane restrictions will be in place 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Plans are to complete the work by late spring.
