Word-Of-Mouth Marketing Agency Brains On Fire Opens Second U.S. Office In Los Angeles
GREENVILLE, S.C. and LOS ANGELES, Jan. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Word-of-mouth marketing agency Brains on Fire (BOF) is expanding with the opening of a second office, having acquired and merged with Los Angeles-based design and digital consulting agency, Animal Volcano Design. Brains on Fire LA (BOF LA), the agency's new West Coast office, will focus on human-centered design, video storytelling and digital strategies with a strong focus on meaningful user experiences.
The expansion is a natural progression of growth for BOF, which has built a strong reputation for developing award-winning brand identities, ambassador programs and word-of-mouth marketing strategies for its clients since the agency was founded in 1998. In addition to BOF's client portfolio, which includes Fiskars Brands, Best Buy, Love 146, National Center for Families Learning, BMW, VisitGreenvilleSC, Foundations Recovery Network and Environmental Defense Fund, BOF LA brings experience working with clients such as Fair Trade USA, HitRECord, GitHub, Pure Charity and Green Dot Public Schools.
"We believe that marketing has the power to change lives and touch people," said BOF President, Robbin Phillips. "We live in the ultimate community here in #yeahTHATgreenville, but there are advantages to having offices on both coasts. Not only does BOF LA give us a longer work day and the ability to better service our clients, it also gives us more firepower in the world of video storytelling and creating digital platforms that connect people, which are both powerful tools in much of the work we do."
The BOF LA office will be led by Benjamin Hart, former owner and founder of Animal Volcano. "Much of our success was the result of subscribing to the same core values and principals that Brains on Fire has been championing for years," said Hart. "Social movements are the most powerful and sustainable way to create real change for both for-profit and non-profit brands, and we believe that people are worth giving a damn about. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to partner with Brains on Fire on several projects and a number of mutual clients. The harmonious working relationship between our teams made joining forces a natural fit and an easy decision. We are beyond privileged to be Brains On Fire LA and look forward to a long, inspired and productive future."
