Word of Faith Int'l Church Halts Oil Exploration on Property
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 8, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- After months of research and deliberation, Word of Faith International Christian Center has made the cost-effective decision to halt oil and natural gas exploration in a certain location on its 110 acres in Southfield. "Yes, there is commercial grade oil, and there is natural gas," states Bishop Keith Butler. "In fact, we have more natural gas than we have oil. However, after speaking with Jordan Development and weighing the options and adding up everything, including the costs to continue drilling for oil and/or harvesting the natural gas, we've decided that it is not in our best interest to continue these efforts. Therefore, we have suspended these operations," concludes Butler. Bishop Keith Butler is the founder and senior pastor of Word of Faith Int'l Christian Center.
