Woofers Hosts Photo Sessions for Seahawks Fans' Dogs
SPANAWAY, Wash., Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Woofers Grooming & Goodies is holding a 12th Man's Best Friend photo event for pets of Seahawks fans. The photo shoot by Animal Planet Photography starts at 2 p.m. on Jan. 31 for individual dogs, with a group photo taking place at 3 p.m.
The event is part of the buildup to the Big Game in the Seattle area, legendary for its "12th Man" fan base.
"Let's make history and cheer on the Seahawks," says Lyn Borcherding, who owns Woofers with her husband, Jon. "Bring your family and furry friends dressed in Seahawks gear."
The store in Spanaway, Wash., is known for its "World's Longest Biscuit Buffet," a yellow doggie-treat browsing bar that is 40 feet long, 2 feet high, and includes 30 red super-bowls of treats totaling 600 pounds.
The 4,000-square-foot store at 16511 Pacific Ave. South in Spanaway offers treats, chews, premium dog food, clothing for dogs of all sizes and Seahawks gear for canines. The couple also provides boarding and training services at Muck Creek Kennels at their home in Roy.
