Wonder Woman In 3D Crushed The Box Office With Approximately 43% Of Estimated $223 Million Worldwide In 3D Ticket Sales

LOS ANGELES, June 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- RealD Inc., the world's largest 3D cinema platform and visual technology company, announced today that Warner Bros. epic action film Wonder Woman generated an outstanding 43% of its worldwide gross from 3D performances of the film. $95 million of the total estimated nearly $223 million worldwide came from 3D ticket sales and an estimated $36 million was collected from RealD equipped locations. 

The highest performing 3D countries internationally include China (100%), UK (23%), Russia (46%), Brazil (79%), Mexico (22%) and Hong Kong (36%). In the United States, 29% of the film's $100.5M opening came from 3D performances.
