LEXINGTON, Mass., March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The 5th Annual Women's Private Equity Summit will be held March 15 - 16, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, California.  As this major industry conference for senior-level women in private equity and venture capital marks its fifth year, the Summit's influence continues to grow. Conference organizers expect more than 400 attendees at the 2012 event -- the largest gathering yet.  This year's Summit also inaugurates the Private Equity Trailblazer Award, honoring pioneering women in the traditionally male-dominated field of private equity and venture capital. The 2012 Trailblazer Award winners are Patricia M. Cloherty and Ginger More, each of whom will participate in a Keynote Interview at the Summit.

The Women's Private Equity Summit attracts a powerful group of leaders -- GPs, LPs, and advisors to the industry -- to facilitate networking, fundraising, and deal-making opportunities and increase access to hard-to-get information.
