Women's Health: Common Solutions to Common Problems
CHICAGO, May 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- One out of three women suffers from bladder issues, according to urogynecologist Sylvia Botros, M.D., MSCI. Yet patients frequently hesitate to seek medical relief and prevention information and end up needlessly suffering with curable urinary or gynecological health problems.
On Monday, May 23 at 6 p.m., Chicago Access Network (CAN-TV), Channel 21, will air a live call-in program, "Community Health," which will highlight the importance of maintaining pelvic health. Discussions will explain the role of urogynecologists in treating bladder control problems and incontinence, as well as bulges and pain in the vaginal area.
Host Lenore Janecek, president and founder of SAVE THE PATIENT, and Dr. Sylvia Botros, practicing urogynecologist at Northshore University HealthSystems and clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago—also will discuss common solutions to common urological problems.
Viewers are encouraged to join in the program, by calling-in their questions.
