Women's Council Announces Stellar Program Line-up of Business Leaders for WILD Summit
The Women's Council at CU's Deming Center for Entrepreneurship announces Shelly Lazarus of Ogilvy & Mather as keynote; five panels of more than 20 women business entrepreneurs and leaders discussing today's most timely and provocative topics
BOULDER, Colo., Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Women's Council, an outgrowth of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at the CU's Leeds School of Business, today announced the program line-up for its inaugural (Women Inspiring Leadership Development) WILD Summit taking place on Feb. 1, 2013.
The Women's Council's WILD Summit will delve into the trends that are driving tomorrow's business opportunities. It provides a unique mix of entrepreneurially minded women, information and ideas. It will foster an environment of learning about today's realities for women leaders and allow participants to gain insights into key trends shaping the future of five rapidly evolving industries in which women are leading the charge for change.
Kicking off the one-day Summit will be Keynote Speaker Shelly Lazarus, Chairman Emeritus, Ogilvy & Mather (O&M). Lazarus rose through the ranks of Ogilvy & Mather assuming positions of increasing responsibility in the management of the company, including president of O&M Direct North America, Ogilvy & Mather New York and Ogilvy & Mather North America. She was named worldwide CEO of Ogilvy & Mather in 1996 and Chairman in 1997. She became Chairman Emeritus in July 2012.
