Women's Business Enterprise National Council Presents 2012 National Conference & Business Fair in Orlando June 19-21
WASHINGTON, April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On the occasion of its 15th Anniversary, the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) will present the 2012 WBENC National Conference & Business Fair in Orlando, Fla., on June 19-21.
The event is the largest of its kind in the nation and helps WBENC in Celebrating 15 Years of Vision, Opportunities, and Success!
A vibrant array of speakers and workshops targeted to an expected draw of 4,000 corporations, government agencies and women's business enterprises (WBEs) in attendance, will deliver vital insights on the key trends and marketplace demands affecting their industries and organizations.
"Our National Conference and Business Fair is designed to connect corporations, government agencies and women's businesses with the goal of developing productive partnerships and fueling economic growth," said WBENC President and CEO Pamela Prince-Eason. WBENC is the leading advocate for and authority on women's business enterprises as suppliers to the nation's major corporations.
Headlining the event on opening day, June 19, is Mike Jones, President of Discover Leadership Training, which provides trailblazing, sustainable, and relevant training solutions to the business community. Jones' fifth book, Unreasonable Possibilities, inspires readers to get out of their comfort zones and live life boldly purposefully, making each moment count.
Attendees will also hear from C-Suite decision makers who have driven measurable results in corporate-WBE partnerships, and represent the 2012 Conference Co-Chairs:

The Women's Business Development Council of Florida (WBDC-FL), headed by President and CEO Nancy Allen is the 2012 Host Council. WBDC-FL reaches Florida, with the exception of the Panhandle, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands. Mike Jones is a former commercial airplane pilot and a commercial-rated helicopter pilot who spent 12 years with the Houston Police Department. With a commitment to make a positive impact on the community, Jones founded Soul Patrol, which was a nationally recognized organization teaching millions of middle and high school students to accept personal responsibility for their lives and their education. Jones received many awards for his program including, honors from Presidents George H.W. Bush (41st) and Bill Clinton, and was the first recipient of the Sylvan Rodriquez Role Model of the Year Award. Jones also was named officer of the year four times during his tenure at the Police Department.

More than 325 exhibitors, including procurement decision makers from the Fortune 500 and key buyers from the government, are expected to participate in the Business Fair on June 20. The National Conference & Business Fair will be held at Peabody Orlando and the Orange County Convention Center.
