The Science & Leadership Symposium is taking place October 10-13, 2014, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Applications are currently being accepted through September 5th. Symposium fees, meals, and hotel accommodations are covered.
Each year since 2002, 60 women heart disease survivors have graduated from the Science & Leadership Symposium and returned to their community to offer peer-to-peer support and education to women living with and at risk for heart disease. WomenHeart Champions, who are 660 strong across the country, also act as spokespersons for WomenHeart to raise public awareness about women's heart disease.
