Women in Entertainment Announces the WIE Workshop Series
This year's series will feature executives across the industry discussing Pitching, Distribution, Acquisition and Business Ethics
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Women in Entertainment (WIE), an organization dedicated to the advancement of women and girls working in the entertainment industry, announced today the Women in Entertainment Workshop Series. The events will take place from March 12-14, 2018 in Los Angeles, CA. The workshops will feature panels of accomplished leaders in film and television who will impart advice and guidance for small groups of women who are working in and aspiring to work in the entertainment industry.
The event series has been created to provide a collaborative and inspiring environment to spark an open dialogue focusing on three core areas of development and education for film and television: Perfecting the Pitch, Distribution and Acquisition, and Business Ethics. The intimate settings will gather members of the powerful Women in Entertainment network and leading women and men in the entertainment industry including; Chad Miller, Cinema Machine Management; Julie Candelaria, All About the 360; Alece Oxendine, Good Deed Entertainment; Lori Rovner, Skydance Media; Aliyah Silverstein, Screenwriter; Jenny Daly, T Group Productions; Tom Hayes, Paramount Pictures; and Tessa Blake, American Film Institute, among others.
