Wombat was evaluated as one of 19 vendors and was positioned in the Leaders quadrant for its for its ability to execute and completeness of vision – the latter of which Wombat was positioned the furthest. The overall evaluation criteria include product or service, overall viability, sales execution/pricing, market responsiveness/record, marketing execution, customer experience, and operations.
As products within this market mature, there are a variety of ways in which each vendor seeks to differentiate. Whereas from 2011 through 2014, many vendors sought to distinguish themselves by adding anti-phishing behavior management capabilities to their product set, this has now become less of a differentiator, because the vast majority of vendors have now incorporated that functionality or have very well-established partnerships with anti-phishing behavior management vendors.
Each of the following areas received increased focus and weighting in this year's Magic Quadrant evaluation scoring. Vendor differentiators in 2015 and 2016 include: learning management systems, gamification, multilanguage support, large supplemental content libraries, variety of content formats, lengths and styles, integration partnerships and possibilities, and competitive pricing.
