CADILLAC, Mich., Feb. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolverine Power Cooperative is pleased to announce the building of a robust communications effort with the hiring of two communications professionals in its Cadillac office. James A. Curtis, most recently from Lansing, Michigan has been hired as Wolverine's Director of Communications and Brittany Kielbasa, of Cadillac, Michigan will serve as Wolverine's Communications Specialist.
Mr. Curtis will be responsible for defining and implementing strategies to communicate Wolverine's Mission, Vision, and Core Values, along with key internal and external messages while advancing the strategic priorities of Wolverine and its member organizations. Ms. Kielbasa will be responsible for building, supporting, and developing key internal and external messages and communications products to advance Wolverine's members' interests.

We need a robust and capable communication staff to support our members and connect our employees working across the state," explained Eric Baker, Wolverine's President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Curtis brings more than six years of communications experience in the areas of healthcare and hospital administration, having most recently served as Marketing Manager for McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing. At McLaren, Mr. Curtis supported numerous hospital lines, departments, and physicians by developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies specific to each client's needs. Ms. Kielbasa was most recently employed at Heritage Broadcasting as a Media Consultant, creating marketing solutions to help clients reach their goals, including broadcast and digital advertising strategies, social media management, branding consultation, and website development. Both will start March 20.
