NEW YORK, July 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. today announced that registration is open for its webinar discussing recent regulatory changes and actions taken by banking agencies and legislation, including Dodd-Frank, in partnership with Mayer Brown. The webinar, entitled "Regulatory Rollback, or Rightsizing? A Review of Regulatory Developments", will take place on Wednesday, July 18 from 1 PM – 2 PM EDT. Participants will have the opportunity to earn one free CLE credit by attending the live hour-long webinar.
Moderated by Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. analyst Katalina Bianco, the session will feature Mayer Brown's expert legal partners Anna Pinedo and David Sahr.
"The regulatory landscape and its developments continue to shift under the Trump administration," said Bianco. "Wolters Kluwer is proud to partner with experts at leading law firms like Mayer Brown to provide our customers with educational opportunities to explore the latest and possible future regulatory changes as a result of banking agency actions and legislation."
Participants will review the changes that have come as a result of actions taken by banking agencies, including proposed amendments to the Volcker Rule and the proposed stress capital buffer, the changes to the recently enacted Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act, and perspective on the additional changes that can be expected in the near term.
"Given the initiative shown by the banking agencies, it is likely that we will continue to see additional proposals that result in further tailoring of Dodd-Frank era rules," said Pinedo of Mayer Brown.
