Wolf Adds New 54-Inch Grill to Outdoor Kitchen Lineup
MADISON, Wis., Feb. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to consumer demand for more variety in outdoor grills, Wolf Appliance, Inc., the industry leader in premium cooking equipment, has unveiled its largest grill yet, measuring four and a half feet wide.

Available exclusively as a built-in unit, the 54-inch grill offers an impressive 51,000 Btu of power with five stainless steel burners, all individually controlled to ensure uniform heat. An optional side burner for high heat and preparing side dishes is available and packs 25,000 Btu into the outdoor configuration.
Sculpted in double-wall stainless steel and specially welded for seamless strength and beauty, Wolf outdoor gas grills use two types of heat, direct and radiant, to achieve the perfect temperature range and uniform heat distribution that are the keys to flawless grilling. Direct heat delivers high, searing temperatures (the infrared sear zone at 25,000 Btu sears meats faster and deeper to seal in juices, producing succulent poultry and roasts) and rapid preheating, while Wolf's briquettes emit a constant radiant heat that distributes temperatures evenly beneath the stainless steel grates.
"Sub-Zero and Wolf's high-performance, outdoor-certified appliances take outdoor entertaining to another level," said Michele Bedard, vice president of marketing for Sub-Zero and Wolf. "The introduction of the 54-inch built-in grill is another step in that direction. We love the notion of masterfully planned outdoor kitchens, and like their indoor counterparts, Wolf's outdoor grills are precision instruments."
Completing the full-scale outdoor cooking experience, the 54-inch grill comes equipped with a hood assist system, LED-lit control knobs, a two-position electric rotisserie (that puts out 14,000 Btu), a three-position warming rack, dual halogen interior lighting, an external thermometer and hot surface ignition.
In this year's Builder magazine survey, Wolf was awarded the No. 1 spot for quality in the Outdoor Kitchens/Grills/Barbecues category for the seventh year in a row. In addition, Wolf's Outdoor Gas Grills were awarded the coveted GOOD DESIGN™ Award, an international recognition of the world's most prominent designers and manufacturers. (Conferred annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design together with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.)
