Witt/Kieffer Names Managing Director, Central Region/Co-Leader, Life Sciences Practice

OAK BROOK, Ill., Aug. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Witt/Kieffer, a leading executive search firm, today announced that John McLean has been named Managing Director, Central Region, and Co-Leader of the firm's Life Sciences Practice.  

Most recently, McLean served as Executive Vice President at DHR International in Chicago, where he co-founded the executive search firm's life sciences practice. While at DHR, he also specialized in healthcare, technology, media and financial services industries. McLean conducted worldwide searches for CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, presidents and senior executives for clients including 3M, Abbott Laboratories, Cardinal Health, Thermo Fisher Scientific, AMS, Navistar, BorgWarner and Keystone Consulting.

Prior to DHR, McLean was a consultant at Hewitt Associates in Lincolnshire, IL, where he advised companies – including Sony, Mitsubishi, Ameritech and Harley Davidson – on executive compensation and sales management and rewards programs. He also has more than 14 years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles with Johnson & Johnson and American Hospital Supply Corporation.
