With Smaller Portions, Less is Amore This Spring at Carrabba's Italian Grill
TAMPA, Fla., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- With springtime comes a desire to lighten up—windows are tossed open and Americans begin refreshing their outlook and enjoying life's simple pleasures. This spring, Carrabba's Italian Grill makes it even easier for customers to indulge in their favorite seasonal Italian specialties, in sensible portions that are as deliciously indulgent as they are light on the wallet. The popular restaurant is offering a new Less is Amore menu of small entrees featuring flavors that were inspired by and perfectly portioned for Spring to prove that sometimes, less truly is amore!
"In Italy food is a way of life; it's an experience meant to be savored and enjoyed with friends and family," said Steve Shlemon, president of Carrabba's Italian Grill. "At Carrabba's we want customers to enjoy the full experience of our authentic Italian meals while still being able to eat a little lighter this Spring."
Carrabba's limited time Less is Amore menu uses the restaurant's decades of experience and rich Italian history to create a menu that delivers a one of a kind taste experience in a smaller size. Customers will be delighted by the bold flavor that fills each bite of the Garlic and Herb Crusted Chicken. Carrabba's prepares the dish by sauteing an all-natural double breast of chicken with the restaurant's signature mix of fresh herbs for a rustic sensibility. The dish is topped with a surprisingly sweet, "40 cloves of garlic" sauce and served over a bed of fresh spinach and al dente orzo pasta.
Another mouth-watering dish on the menu is the Seared Scallops with Spinach & Orzo which features seven fresh North Atlantic sea scallops served on a bed of savory sautéed spinach and imported Mediterranean orzo.
And with the Less is Amore menu, there is always room for dessert—especially Carrabba's mini-desserts which allow the perfect bite of delicious sweetness that fits customers appetites and their wallets. Delectable choices include traditional creamy Panna Cotta, Carrabba's signature Dessert Rosa, a fluffy butter cake topped with pastry cream, bananas, strawberries, pineapple and whipped cream and finally rich and creamy Chocolate Coconut Mousse. These desserts add a touch of sweetness to any meal and follow the Italian sentiment that quality over quantity goes a long way. To make these treats even sweeter, starting April 20th, Carrabba's is offering its Facebook fans coupons good for one free mini dessert with the purchase of an entree.
Carrabba's is also helping customers give the perfect gift for Mother's Day and Graduation and get a little something in return. Through June 20, customers will receive a $10 Amore gift card with either a $50 gift card purchase or a carry out order over $100.
