With Commercial Obstacles Overcome, Humpus Set for Release in Time for Christmas

BIRMINGHAM, England, Oct. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Just over a year ago, UK inventor and Founder of Feelgood 2 Ltd Robert Lewis Stephenson was working hard to introduce a new and unique unisex adult massage device to the world. The Humpus was, and still is, expected to revolutionise the way people view and use such personal products (alone or as couples). Unfortunately, at the time, things did not work out as Stephenson had planned. Nonetheless, these obstacles and the resultant delays did not stop him and his business partners from forging ahead, with the result that now the Humpus should be ready for sale in time for Christmas.

Stephenson has clarified that the original plans were derailed when a crowdfunding campaign intended to raise between $60,000 and $100,00 became buried within the depths of the crowdfunders website due to 'external directives in respect of promoting funding for this type of product'. This left Stephenson with just $10,000 to launch the new product, which was obviously not enough to do what needed to be done. He subsequently spent many months lining up new investors while potential customers continued to enquire as to when the Humpus would be available to buy.

It was with great enthusiasm that Stephenson recently announced that he had both the funding and the manufacturing partners in place to get the Humpus to market. He and his team are busy upgrading the company's website in anticipation of the first shipment of completed products arriving from the factory.

When asked just how much work had gone into getting the Humpus to market, Stephenson described the months of endless searching for new investors and manufacturing partners. He spoke about specifically looking for partners as enthusiastic about his vision as he is. Once those partners were lined up, it was just a matter of putting plans in place to make Stephenson's vision a reality.

"After many months, the Humpus design has been perfected," Stephenson says. "We have all the factories lined up to get from tooling to final assembly. We hope to have the Humpus available for purchase from the humpus.com website in time for Christmas orders."

Stephenson invites those customers who have been keeping track of the company's progress to look out for the new website. It should be available in the next few weeks, along with information about when orders can be placed.
