PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J., March 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Citing her visionary leadership and dedicated business community outreach, WisEngineering is pleased to announce the selection of company President Cheryl Hall as one of the NJBIZ Top 50 Women in Business for 2016. The annual selection, now in its 11th year, is designed to honor "New Jersey's most dynamic women in business that have been making headlines in their field." The women chosen to receive this award come from a variety of industry and professional backgrounds, but are frequently described as women leaders that "break glass" and set the bar for excellence across the entire New Jersey business community. Awardees will be honored for their achievement in a ceremony on March 21st.
WisEngineering's Vice President for Business Development Timothy Haar, who nominated Ms. Hall for this award, was not surprised by the news and understandably pleased: "It's a real credit to Cheryl's body of work that she was selected to receive this award, especially alongside the outstanding awardees that comprise the 2016 class."
Upon hearing the news, Ms. Hall stated that she was both humbled and honored to be nominated for this award. She added "The decision to pursue entrepreneurship afforded me the opportunity to experience success that at one time seemed unattainable as a woman owned technical engineering company within the defense industry." She went on to say "While this award is something to celebrate personally, I share this award with those who have paved the way before me. It is my desire to lead WisEngineering to greater success and to continue to offer motivation and support to my fellow entrepreneurs; especially to women beginning their journey."
