DOVER, N.J., Oct. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- WisEngineering, LLC (WisE) announced a contract award to participate in the $37.4 billion indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) from the U.S. Army's Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) Program Office Mission at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. This IDIQ will provide knowledge-based professional engineering support services to U.S. military command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance programs. Under this agreement, WisE will be able to provide services both as a standalone company and as a member of any partnerships and joint ventures that may form among the contract award participants.
"We are excited to support the U.S. Army C4ISR community; we are proud to be a small yet impactful contributor towards the safety and security of our nation," said Timothy Haar, Director, Business Development, WisEngineering, LLC. "This award is a vehicle for us to continue supporting our military men and women around the world and it is an honor to be recognized as a strong and reliable member of this domain."
The five-year base contract ordering period and five-year optional ordering period will enable new contract awardees, including WisEngineering, to vie for task orders that support multiple C4ISR service areas, including engineering, research and development, logistics, acquisition and strategic planning, and education and training services. The RS3 competitive bid process highlights WisE's commitment to providing the best services at the most cost-effective price, with their emphasis on six sigma quality and narrow overhead margins. "We like to be lean and mean," said Mr. Haar.
"Given today's global environment and the posturing of less than friendly nations, now more than ever, we are very proud and committed to supporting the national efforts to protect our country and to ensure we maintain superiority on our specialized war fighting capabilities," said Cheryl Hall, President, WisEngineering, LLC.
