Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies Launches "Wisconsin Kindness Coalition"

APPLETON, Wis., June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Exciting news from the Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies, Inc. (WFHS) as a statewide Kindness Coalition was initiated to promote positive, respectful partnerships and interactions between the state's animal welfare groups. WFHS is a network of Wisconsin humane organizations and animal welfare professionals dedicated to advocating respect, understanding and kindness despite operational differences.
The animal welfare industry is filled with kind, compassionate, and dedicated people with one goal in mind – saving the lives of animals. The Kindness Coalition was created to reward good work through respectful and productive collaboration while increasing the number of lives saved. Positive interactions and a strong support system between animal welfare groups will continue to benefit the homeless animal population in Wisconsin.
Each quarter, WFHS will publish the number of lives saved through various programs introduced by the Kindness Coalition. Members are eligible for various benefits such as yearly scholarships for equipment, staff training, and funding for spay and neuter costs.
