Wisconsin Energy named one of nation's best corporate citizens
MILWAUKEE, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Wisconsin Energy (NYSE: WEC) has been recognized as one of the 100 best corporate citizens in the United States by Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine. This is the seventh consecutive year Wisconsin Energy has been named to the nation's best list.
Each year, CR Magazine evaluates publicly held companies on the basis of environmental performance, employee relations, philanthropy, finance and governance.
For the sixth time in the past seven years, Wisconsin Energy also achieved a No. 1 ranking in the category of corporate governance.

The company's contribution to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight program also is recognized in the current edition of CR Magazine. Wisconsin Energy was one of the earliest corporate partners of the program, which flies WWII and Korean War veterans to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C.
