WASHINGTON, Aug. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- GENTAG, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent issuance of US Patent 7,969,307, complementing its joint patent portfolio with Motorola, including US Patents 7,148,803; 7,492,254; and pending foreign PCT applications covering disposable wireless sensors compatible with cell phones, including Near Field Communication (NFC) cell phones.
Patent 7,969,307 covers disposable wireless skin patches directly readable with NFC cell phones, as well as other disposable NFC sensors for consumer applications, including medication, food safety, pathogen detection, cosmetics, and M2M markets.
