Winning PICK 5 Ticket Sold in Philadelphia Nears Expiration
MIDDLETOWN, Pa., May 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A winning Pennsylvania Lottery PICK 5 ticket worth $50,000 that was sold in Philadelphia for the June 11, 2017, daytime drawing will soon expire.
The ticket, sold by M&P Newstand, 130 Spring Garden St., matched all five white balls drawn, 2-9-8-1-5, to win a prize of $50,000, less applicable tax withholding.
A prize claim must be filed with the Lottery by Monday, June 11, 2018. The ticket holder should sign the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.
Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Draw game prizes expire one year from the drawing date.
By law, expired lottery prizes remain in the Lottery Fund to pay for programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians. Fortunately, the vast majority of prizes are claimed.
Players should check every ticket, every time, using self-service scanners at retailers or with the ticket checker on the Lottery's official mobile app. Sign winning tickets immediately.
